Mohd Shairulnizam Zuall Cobley, DIB, BA (hons) (UK) , MBA (UK), is President and Principal Consultant, People Strategies Asia, a regional management consulting company. He was formerly a senior management consultant with an international consulting company after stints as Head, Consumer Credit Unit, Telekom Sales and Services, a Telekom Malaysia Group, and as Branch Manager of an established financial institution. He is a Certified Systems Quality Auditor registered with the International Register of Certification Auditors, has a BA (hons) in Business Finance from University of East London. He was awarded his MBA in Strategic Management from Middlesex University; his thesis was on the strategic direction of the electronic industries in Malaysia.

 For the last 8 years Shairul has been working with and researching ‘Asian Leadership Competency’ within Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia and is a business strategy and process consultant in Malaysia.

 In line with his specialism in helping organisations in strategic management and performance management initiatives, Shairul is very active in a number of Balance Scorecard initiatives in Malaysian organisations, helping them prepare for current and future challenges. Shairul has consulted and facilitates various management workshops in the ASEAN countries.

 He has wealth of experience in presenting to ASEAN executives in the area of oorganizational and executive development programme. He is an active speaker for various Malaysian conglomerates and has proved to be a dynamic speaker and very knowledgeable in fields of Strategic and Business Planning.

 Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), Ministry of Entrepreneurs and Cooperative Development and Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UNIKL) had appointed him as Consultant and Advisor for the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) within the three organisations.

 He was also trainer and speaker, Government Competency Evaluation (Level 6) in the area of Strategic Management and Creativity Management at the Accountant General Office of Malaysia
